Annette came to MUI in 2001 after three years as President of the Minnesota Retailers Association (MnRA), the statewide trade organization representing retailers in the public policy arena.  Annette has brought her ability to integrate communication and grassroots strategies with lobbying and public affairs goals to MUI, as well as her experience managing associations. 

Annette has served on the Board of Directors for the Midwest Society of Association Executives and on the Governor’s Tourism Advisory Council as well as the Governor’s SuperBoard on Ventura’s Y2K Preparedness.  She is also active in a local Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO) chapter where she has served as President.
