A great way to learn and socialize close to home, these regional meetings size ranges from 15 – 50 depending on the area. Local Member Meetings feature speakers who present on a variety of energy and investment topics. Each meeting includes a catered meal, informational component and fun and prizes.

These meetings are complimentary for Supporting Members and General Members.

The MUI Annual meeting includes transportation from select sites within the state, Energy tradeshow (featuring Utility companies and other energy related booths), several seminars on hot industry topics and trends as well as a delicious luncheon with fun and games.  Our most popular event, we attract as many as 300 members throughout the state each year.

Complimentary for Supporting Members and General Members this event is held in the Metro Area in October.

MUI Members in action! Members participate in this event to learn about current Legislative issues and to meet with Legislators to advocate on behalf of Minnesota investors.  MUI does most of the work for you – including bussing from sites all over the state and setting up all appointments. 

We offer 2 tracks: an Educational Track designed to ease members into one-on-one meeting with Legislators and an Advocacy Track for members who are comfortable meeting directly with Legislators.

Both Supporting Members and General Members from all over the state are eligible to attend this free event. A great way to learn about the legislative process and empower yourself as a citizen and shareholder.

Typically held June – July, these tours offer Supporting Members multiple opportunities for hands-on learning. Examples of past tours include Nuclear Facilities, Wind and Solar Farms, and Coal and Hydro Plants.
